Half-priced wine tastings will also be available during regular hours.
August 7th – LEO * LEO
Leo*Leo, a duo of long-time friends Vanessa Wheeler and Sarah Hope, is a post-modern mishmash of poly-stylistic pop with a predilection for wry humor, imagination and warmer climates. Their unique blend of supple melodies and unexpected harmonic turns led Maimed and Tamed to call them, equal parts warpaint, beach house, and tennis.
August 14th – MIRIAM ELHAJI
With a sound that recalls Joan Baez and Buffy Sainte-Marie along with the crudeness of Delta Blues, it is difficult to believe that perceptive singer-songwriter Miriam Elhajli is only 19. Born and raised in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Elhajli grew up in a town with a rich history of Folk music where landmarks such as Club Passim allowed artists like Bob Dylan to begin their careers. Coming from a Venezuelan and Moroccan background, she became interested in the traditional folkloric music of her parents at an early age where she would sing in both Spanish and French. In the summer of 2013, Elhajli embarked on a musical journey alone to London where she would come to play at some of the most renowned clubs and festivals in England, such as The Cambridge Folk Festival, Leigh On Sea Folk Festival, and The Troubadour Club. Miriam currently studies at Berklee College Of Music where she is a Performance major and an English minor. She intends to become a philosopher.
August 21st – TRAVIS CAUDLE
The Australian-born singer-songwriter Travis Caudle specializes in guitar-based pop songs that are lyrically preoccupied with transcending the trappings of the mind and living in the present moment. His musical adventure began as a teenager when he surprised family and friends by performing free shows at a local mall. He’s toured all over Australia and North America playing at international festivals such as SXSW, CMJ and CMW. Caudle’s songs have also been featured on the hit TV shows Gossip Girl and Flash Forward.
August 28th – JOANNA TETERS
Back by popular demand! Berklee graduate and vocalist, Joanna Teters croons in a rich alto. Known for her powerful presence as a front woman with groups Mad Satta, Lowtone Society, and Drew ofthe Drew, Teters switches seamlessly from a smooth-but-smoky lilt to a rugged reggae delivery. At 21 she has already shared the stage with artists ranging from Sam Smith, Terri Lyne Carrington, and Gretchen Parlato to Ozomatli and Afrika Bambaataa.
